What is a UV & Light Stabilizer?

We produce advanced engineering grade light and UV stabilizer systems to prevent photo-oxidative degradation caused by exposure of plastic products to the sunlight spectrum and especially harmful ultraviolet radiation. To break the destructive effect of sunlight, we combine UV absorber components that absorb harmful rays by converting them into heat energy with HALS technologies that instantly trap free radicals emerging during the photo-oxidation process in a synergistic formulation.

These advanced formulas developed in our production facilities stop the breaking of polymer chains at the cellular level, completely eliminating problems such as yellowing, chalking, dullness, hair-line cracking, and loss of mechanical strength. In all applications requiring superior light fastness and outdoor durability, from agricultural greenhouse films to stadium seats, exterior claddings to automotive parts, we offer professional protection shields that preserve the structural integrity of the polymer for years.

Recommended Dosage

  • Standard outdoor plastic parts and general use: 1.0% - 2.0%
  • Thin-walled packaging and medium-term outdoor durability: 1.5% - 3.0%
  • Greenhouse films, stadium seats, and parts exposed to heavy climatic conditions: 3.0% - 5.0%
